This painting shows a little Afghan boy and his father in the "Mash" hospital in Kandahar Afghanistan. The boy's life was saved by Dr. Gerald Wilks (Captain U.S.N.) (AMC) Air Mobiltiy Command delivered the "Mash" unit and Doctor Wilks to this venue in 2005.

a patient of Dr. Wilks at the M.A.S.H. Unit in Kandahar,
Afghanistan. On Dr. Wilks? nightly rounds he would bid them
a good night, tell them he would see them in the morning
while giving them the ?Thumbs Up?, which they would return.
