The B-47E Stratojet was the Strategic Air Command's (SAC) Cold War warrior and the world's first swept-wing jet bomber to enter production. It had air-to-air refueling capability which enabled it to fly incredible distances.
The B-47 Stratojet was a long-range, six-engined, jet-powered medium bomber built to fly at high subsonic speeds and at high altitudes. It was designed primarily to drop nuclear bombs on the Soviet Union.
