First Of The German Biplane Fighters (Fokker D-11) Recommended By Boelcke Arrived At The Front In Mid 1916. Despite Being Only A Bit Better Than The Eideckers, They Were Deadly To The Sorry Types Of Fighter The British Were Sending To The Front. Most Were Withdrawn By The End Of The Year.Possibly The Worst British Fighter Plane Of The War Was The Be-12 Version Of The Old Be-2 Observation Panel The Chief Victim Of The Fokker Monoplanes. Sent Into Action On 25 August 1916, So Many Were Shot Down, That They Were Withdrawn In Mid September Less Than A Month After They Arrived.
