The Triplane flown by Captain Collishaw, and his Black Flight, all Canadians made a name for themselves as one of the most deadly fighters on the western front. Flying his Black Maria, on July 2, 1917, he destroyed an Aviatic C near Poelcapelle, to give him 25 victories with an additional 34 more at the war's end.
