The Painting Is A Culmination Of Several Experiences. A Flaming Helicopter Crash (Swift Strike III, Aug 1963); Huskie Fire Demonstration (Hahn AFB, Germany, 1965); And Watching The Unsung Heroes At Vietnam At Bien Hoa, Jan 1967 Where They're Airborne More Than On They Ground And At Da Nang Where They're Used For Rescue As Well As Fire Fighting. Having Flown With Them, They're A Great Bunch Of Guys And Their Motto "That Others May Live" Tells The Whole Story.
