The artist illustrates a montage of various maneuvers that the Thunderbirds of the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron orchestrates. Also, in the air, carrying the Stars and Stripes, which was later presented to the Governor of New Hampshire, is one member of the 8-Man Combat Control Team of the 3rd Mobile Aerial Port Squadron chutists from Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina. On the ground, in the middle ground, is a group of kids helping a landed chutist fold his chute. In the background, is a cannon crew in the Battle of Pease re-enacted by militiamen from all over New England. This was Pease's second New England-wide muster. One militiaman is posed on the left with a flintlock rifle, balanced on the right by a Thunderbird pilot beside his Northrop T-38A Talon aircraft.
