The drawing entitled Pot of Gold is a depiction of a C-17A Globlemaster III named The Spirit of Berlin. Thousands of Berliners and veterans turned out for a ceremony commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift. The airlift was a U.S.-led effort to supply West Berlin's 2.5 million people with food and fuel June 1948 to September 1949.
