Commissioned by the Air Force Memorial Foundation while the memorial was under construction, "The Air Force Memorial" is a 48" high x 36" wide oil painting featuring the new Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, with full grown trees on the site as it will appear once the Navy Annex buildings have been removed. The Thunderbirds are performing the "Missing Man" formation in the early morning sunlight overhead.
