A North American T-39 Sabreliner of the 1401st Airlift Squadron's detachment from Peterson AFB, Colorado, wings another dignitary across the nation in style (circa 1976). The aircraft depicted was the first assignment of my Air Force tour as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist (AFSC-43151) following technical training at Sheppard AFB, and was often used by NORAD Commander Gen. Daniel "Chappie" James.
