Major Dill Ellis Was Born In South Carolina And Graduated From East Point In 1940. He Was One Of The First Combat Squadron Leaders To Return From Overseas And Report In Detail On The Excellence Of The B-26 Performance In Action. He Was Decorated With The D.F.C. And The Air Medal For His Leadership Of A Martin Marauder Squadron Over New Guinea On 1942 And 1943.
