Colonel John Hubert Davies Was Credited With Helping To Keep The Japs Out Of Fort Moresby In 1942 With His A-20 Dive Bombers Of The 27th Dive Bomb Group And The 3rd Light Bomb Group. He Received The D.S.C. And The Silver Star. In 1944 He Commanded The 313 Very Heavy Bomb Wing Of B-29s In The 20th Air Force. He Has Been Promoted To Brigader General.
