His Courageous Work On Missions In The African Theatre In The 33rd Group Won Him The Silver Star, The D.F.C. With 2 Oakleaf Clusters, The Air Medal With 3 Clusters, The Soldiers Medal And The French Croix De Guerre With Palm. For Conceiving, Organizing And Commanding The Air Commando Operation 500 Miles Behind The Jap Lines In Burma. He Was Decorated Whit The D.S.M. And The British D.S.C. In October, 1944. Later He Was Given The Bronze Star For His Part In The Invasion Of Germany.
