Description:
As Most Air Force Buffs Know, The Lady Be Good, A B-24c, Was Abandoned By Its Lost Crew Over Libya In 1943--After A Bombing Raid On Italy. It Landed Alone And Empty And Like The Bodies Of Its 9 Crewmen, Was Not Found For 16 Years. I've Tried To Show That Last Moment Before It Touched Down, Almost Undamaged, At 2 A.M., April 5, 1943. Wright-Patterson Museum Has Some Parts From The Panel And A Display Of Memorabilia.
