4 December 1984: Eglin AFB, FL; the first element in a flight of four F-15's breaks ground and tucks its gear away in the gentle but steady climb skyward. The lead aircraft (F-15D 83-046), Duster 21, is flown by Capt. Jack Fearneyhough, with Air Force artist Gerry Asher in the rear seat. Flying a steady wing is Capt. Spence Roberts in Duster 22 (F-15C 83-011). Duster 23 and 24, the remaining Eagles in the formation, will join during the climb out enroute to the Camden Ridge MOA. The subject aircraft and their pilots were assigned to the 58th Tactical Fighter Squadron.
