Underneath is an actual copy of the Official Gunsmoke Newsletter published daily by the Public Affairs Office at nellis during the competition. It told all that happened on a particular day and was available all over the base. Below that is a maintenance man polishing the part that sticks out in front of an F-16. Inset photo is just one example of all the different types of hats and emblems seen at Gunsmoke. Everyone knows about the Remove Before Flight streamer omnipresent on any flight line.
