Description:
As An Air Corps Trained Pilot, I've Always Had A Sentimental Attachment For The B-25. I Painted "Tired Old War Bird" From A B-25 Decaying At Van Nuys Airport, California. It Was Also Used In Catch 22, Tires Flat And Paint Falling Off, No Longer Flyable. Pilots Were In Oversupply In 1945, So I Received My Wings And Commission At Hondo AAFB Class Of 1944-12 As A Navigator And Was In A B-24 Liberator Crew.
