This Painting Reflects An Air Force Officer Who Lived Through The Years As SRO Of POWs In Hanoi With Credit To Himself And His Men. He Has Since Worked In Responsible Assignments And Most Recently Has Been Named Inspector General. I Met Him For The First Time Coming Off The Plane In Clark Air Base In 1973. Seeing Him Again At Lackland In 1976, I Felt A Painting Of Him And His Career Could Be A Part Of The Air Force Collection. The Air Force Truly Did Not Penalize These Men Who Served As Prisoners, As Lt. General Flynn's Recent Years Show.
