Their engine nacelles and undersurfaces lit by nacelle and under-wing illumination lights, a Boeing KC-135RT air refuelable tanker of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing at McConnell AFB, KS, is refueled by an Altus Air Force Base, OK, Boeing KC-135R high over Kansas City's International Airport. The Artist participated in this routine night training mission in the receiver as it maintained contact or pre-contact position while orbiting for nearly two hours on the assigned refueling track. The skills of these Air Force tanker crews have made possible the worldwide operations of our armed forces since 1957.
