I Was So Impressed By The SAC (Strategic Air Command) At Ramey Air Force Base In Puerto Rico As Well As How Much Of The Air They Covered That I Thought It Only Fitting To Try To Tell Their Activities In A Painting. The Whole SAC System, I Thought, Could Best Be Told In The Simple Manner That I Painted It--The B-52s And The K-135s Circling And Guarding The Globe.
