This painting shows the first two modern cantilever wing monoplanes with retractable landing gears to see Army-Air Corps service in 1934. The consolidated P-30 Biplane Pursuit, later redesignated the PB-2 and two Martin B-10 Bombers, all painted in the new yellow wings and tail and blue fuselage color scheme used between 1934 and 1937.
