Description:
Fokker D-VIII Parasol: Called the Flying Razor, the D-VIII was the last Fokker to see combat. It began equipping front line Jastas after an earlier wing problem was corrected in the final months of war. German Naval Ace, Ostercamp, used it to achieve one of his last victories. Bristol F-2b Fighter: The finest two-seat fighter plane of the war. The Bristol fighter combined the best fighting characteristics of single seaters with that of the two-seat reconnaissance planes. Despite heavy losses when it was first introduced in April 1917 (from wrong tactics), the F-2B soon became the best plane of the war and remained in service until 1933. Major McKeever achieved 32 victories in one. DeHaviland DH-9A: Last version of the DH-4/9 series had an American liberty engine.
