Description:
In 1988, a C-5 Galaxy took off from the Lockheed Factory in Marietta, Georgia heading for Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. At the controls was General Duane Cassidy, then head of Military Airlift Command (MAC). This was a flight of historical importance, for it was to be the last C-5 to come off the assembly lines at Lockheed. In this montage, we see General Cassidy with a C-5 superimposed into the composition.
